Richland Township is one of sixteen townships located in Belmont County, Ohio. Richland Township is the second largest township in the State of Ohio. The township covers 58.8 square miles with approximately 92 miles of roadways. The township’s 92 miles of roadways are maintained and supervised by a road superintendent, five full time employees, and one-part time employee. They are responsible for snow removal, chipping and sealing roadways, and asphalting roadways. They are also responsible for mowing, ditching, and grading of all Richland Townships secondary roads.
